Bond Legal were commissioned by an educational institution to conduct an independent investigation into allegations of a, ‘culture of fear’ and a ‘toxic work environment’ created by a number of senior leaders.

The investigation was highly sensitive; it was also potentially damaging for the institution given that a number of senior relationships had broken down. We conducted a wide-ranging investigation and interviewed a large number of witnesses. This highlighted several complex issues which had led to the problems arising.

We presented our findings and conclusions in a detailed written report which set out recommendations as to how improvements could be made and relationships repaired.
